The densest motorway network in Austria. The A1 (West motorway), A2 (South motorway) and A22 (Danube bank motorway) are the main routes. Special feature: The city motorway in Vienna has no special toll.
The A1 connects Vienna with Salzburg through Upper Austria. The A7 (Mühlkreis motorway) leads to the Czech Republic. Special feature: No special toll sections in Upper Austria.
The A2 (South motorway) and A9 (Pyhrn motorway) are the main routes. Special feature: The A9 has section-based special tolls in the area of the Bosruck Tunnel.
The A2 and A10 (Tauern motorway) cross Carinthia. Special feature: The Karawanken Tunnel (A11) requires a special toll for the border crossing to Slovenia.
The A1 and A10 meet in Salzburg. Special feature: The A10 (Tauern motorway) has a special toll in the area of the Tauern Tunnel.
The A12 (Inn Valley motorway) and A13 (Brenner motorway) are the main routes. Special feature: The A13 has a special toll, as does the Arlberg Tunnel (A14).
The A14 (Rhine Valley motorway) is the main route. Special feature: The Arlberg Tunnel connects Vorarlberg with Tyrol and requires a special toll.
The A3 and A4 (East motorway) cross Burgenland. Special feature: No special toll sections in Burgenland.
